THE FIRST IN A SERIES of courses that offer the improvement of surgical technique under the supervision of experienced plastic surgeons who have been involved in surgical technique for decades.
Suturing surgical technique is an essential and integral part of medicine that every doctor should know. We are starting a series of courses in which we will offer mentoring along with professional basic and advanced knowledge and an individualized approach in which we will transfer our knowledge and skills. We offer the possibility of complete theoretical acquisition of knowledge, practical approach on models and clinical application of acquired knowledge and skills.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
This course is intended for everyone who wants to improve their surgical technique, everyone who wants to expand their knowledge and establish the basics of surgical technique and learn new skills in surgical practice is welcome.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Theoretical overview of all basic aspects related to sewing, from the history, through knowledge and proper handling of surgical instruments, familiarization with the types and peculiarities of threads and needles, introduction to the anatomical features of tissues and parts of the human body, and techniques of suturing and closing and reconstruction of wounds and tissue defects. Practical mastery of instrument handling skills, mastery of sewing techniques on practical models with mentorship with a special focus on the application of the appropriate technique in the appropriate region. The possibility of permanent access to the community of the Academy of Plastic Surgery for clinical training and consultation.
COURSE DURATION
The course lasts two days.
CERTIFICATION
After successful completion of the course, participants will receive certificates from the Academy of Plastic Surgery, which guarantees the acquired skills and enables access to the community of the Academy of Plastic Surgery for lifelong training and counseling. The course will be graded by HLK.
